Start your day way before dawn with a quick ride out to the Giza desert for a magical sunrise camel ride right by the pyramids. Right after sunrise, you will take a 1.5-hour cruise out to Fayoum Oasis. Check out the massive Roman waterwheels and hit up Wadi El Rayan to see Egypt’s rare desert waterfalls. You can even jump on a traditional felucca boat ride across Lake Qarun. After stuffing your face with a delicious local lunch, you can opt to head deep into the desert to Wadi Hitan (Valley of the Whales) to see actual fossilized whale skeletons and prehistoric reefs.
